VS The Expert Approach

If you are like most people, most of your life you have been told what to do and how to do it.  You should be doing this, you shouldn't be doing that. Everyone seems to have an opinion. Everyone is an expert on your life.  

This can be quite maddening and confusing. It often leads to uncertainty and a loss of ability to check in to what your own heart and your own body really needs and wants.

At the end of the day, if you want to make real and lasting changes, they have to come from you. They have to happen because you want them to, because the align with your values and your bigger life goals (perhaps something like wanting to be around and healthy for your grandkids!) not because someone else tells you to.  As humans, we just don't work that way.  

Using the coach approach, Paul will help you uncover and discover not only what it is that you want, but also help you overcome the obstacles that keep you from getting it.  For instance, an expert, let's say your doctor, may say that you should eat less sugar.  That's all well and good.  But they are just telling you what to do and giving no guidance. They are not recognizing how addictive sugar is, not asking about the habits that you have, and certainly not helping you to strategize about how to lessen the sugar you eat.  A coach will work with you to figure out how to make changes in the context of your complicated life.   

In this process Paul supports you as you take ownership in your own health and your own healing.
